Now it is one of the best-preserved examples of Dutch architecture in the city that stands on Jl. Pasar Ikan, after it was rebuilt in 1667 when the Treaty of Bungaya was signed. Two museums are currently housed inside the fort, the more popular being Museum Negeri La Galigo.
