The Silent Drill team who performs this feat of synchronicity belongs to the Marine Security and Escort Group (MSEG) – specifically, soldiers who are in charge of guarding the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal.

The park's open grounds and the roads surrounding the park are favorite venues for fun runs sponsored by private agencies, government institutions, commercial establishments, and non-profit organizations.
